Gift vouchers cannot be used when purchasing our online games.

Do I have to play the online escape room as soon as I have purchased the game?

When you purchase an online game you will be sent a link and a game code. You can choose to play the game whenever you like.

In our B.R.U.C.E. online games, once you have activated the code you have 24 hours to complete the game.

Can I use gift vouchers to pay for an online escape game?

Our gift vouchers cannot be used towards payment for our online escape rooms.

How long do the games last?

The target time for each of our online escape room games is 60-90 minutes, but there is no time limit and so you can keep playing until you escape!

Our Marvelous Movie Maze online game lasts for approximately 60 minutes as all of its mini games are time limited.

How many people can play at one time?

We recommend team sizes of 1 to 4 players, although larger teams can play.

A maximum of 6 separate computers can connect to the games using the same code at the same time.

When you have a multi-player team, with players in different locations we recommend connecting via Zoom/FaceTime/WhatsApp video call so that you can communicate easily and share ideas.

Can the games be played by team members in different locations?

Yes, players can be in different locations. This applies to all of our online games.

How it works in the Marvelous Movie Maze, BRUCE, Red Planet Panic, Pirate Plunder, Houdini and Rudolph games:

Players in different locations all log into the game using the same link and activation code that you receive in the booking email. All players will see the same screen at the same time and can click and enter codes into the game.

Separately, you should find a way to communicate with each other, such as Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp etc.

How it works in the Rogue Agent  and Sherlock games:

Choose a lead player who should log in with using the link and activation code received at the time of purchase. The lead player should then share their screen with other players (e.g. using Zoom or Skype) so that everyone can see the game.

The lead player is the only person who can click on objects in the game.

What happens if I lose my internet connection?

We recommend having a strong, fast and reliable internet connection to play the games.

If you do lose your internet connection, or the page freezes, just refresh your browser and the game will restart where you left off.

What computer equipment do I need to play the online games?

Our games are web browser based and are designed to be played on desktop and laptop computers.

The games do not work on tablets or on phones.

You will need a good internet connection – without this, we cannot guarantee that your game will play smoothly.

We recommend using the latest version of the Chrome web browser. The game may not run on older web browsers.

We recommend that players use Zoom or other communication method to share ideas about how to solve the puzzles.

Do I need sound to play the games?

The Rudolph game does not have any sound based puzzles.

In our other online games some of the puzzles are sound based, so it is important to hear the games as well as see them!

You may find it helpful to wear headphones.

What if I get stuck during the game?

All of our games have inbuilt clue systems that you can use if you get stuck. We recommend only taking clues as a last resort  as there is no time limit on the games and solving a puzzle without a clue gives the most satisfaction!

Sometimes there are multiple clues for each part of the game – this is to give you different levels of help.

If you are completely stuck, even after looking at the clues, you are also able to see the solution.

What are your prices?

Prices range from £15 to £30 per game (not per per player).
